2 Afternoon Pre-Holiday Stress/Anxiety
and Affirmations Workshop

 For who? For anyone who is anxious or apprehensive about the upcoming holiday time. Perhaps you’re still going through those difficult 1st anniversaries of loss, or you are facing difficult family members… or other possible situations which can bring additional anxiety to deal with.

What will we do? On the first day we’re going to do some visual exercises to start mapping out the areas of anxiety, and to start looking at coping strategies. On the second day we’re going to get seriously positive, write out our strategies, and positive affirmations.

Desired outcome: The goal is to help you develop your own personal tools and to help boost your confidence and morale. We won’t be doing counselling or psychoanalysis! We will be using art as a tool, but no previous art experience is needed.

By combining writing with art (making marks, doodling, writing) we help our brains to unlock patterns, helping free the mind and engage our subconscious mind to see solutions and connections!

Materials you will need:
Notebook for writing/ journaling
Pen/pencils/eraser
Art supplies you have (paper, markers, watercolors etc.)
Glue stick/Stapler/scissors

November 18 & 19,

1:00  – 4:00 p.m.
